About the EUPMCA:
The Eastern Upper Peninsula Medical Control Authority supervises and coordinates the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system in the northeast upper peninsula of Michigan. The EUPMCA provides a number of services to local EMS services including the establishment of practice protocols for their constituent agencies and educating physicians and hospital staff on these protocols. The following agencies are part of the EUPMCA:
